Dear Parents,

Winter has definitely arrived this week, the children were very vocal about the cold today! Please remind them to wear jumpers as well as bring in a coat as the classroom can be cold in the morning.
Throughout the week there has been a focus on anti-bullying awareness week. The children have attended guest workshops, worked on special PSHE lessons and watched a thoughtful assembly by 5C this morning, as well as all wearing blue today! For such an important subject, relevant to all of our children, please talk to the children about what they learned throughout the week.
Back in class they have had a very active week in all subjects.
In English they were writing scripts and story boards to perform adverts for the non-fiction unit ‘Museum of Fun’.They worked really hard, producing and filming some very entertaining and persuasive TV adverts. A few pictures of each group are below and we will try to upload the videos next week!

Dear Parents,

What a busy and productive last two weeks of half term. The children performed brilliantly in their class assembly. We are so proud of each and everyone of them, as we're sure you are. We have certainly realised the children have so much talent at such a young age.

The children have been writing some great adventure stories and have worked so hard to create a class book which you can enjoy next time you are in school.

In Maths the children have been exploring timetables and factors. They have worked so hard we have been able to move them onto laptops to explore fractions. Please continue to practise timetables throughout the half term break.

This afternoon they have had fun and creative time painting their Still Life compositions.

Cycling week is fast approaching. Please can you take your child out on their bike for some practise over the half term. This will enable us to get a quick start and get the children tested quickly to ensure they are all safe to ride on th…

Dear parents,

We have had a busy few weeks at school. The children have been experimenting what happens to shadows around a rounders post during the day. Here are some photographs to show you what they have been doing. It was a great day for an experiment on shadows.

In gymnastics we have been learning to put a routine together using symmetrical and asymmetrical moves. The children had fun trying to balance safely on all the gymnastics equipment we have in school.
